#13 The Scarlett Letter

After reading this I got a perspective on how close minded the puritans were and how they didn't accept differences. They humiliated, threatened, and killed people that were different or committed a crime. Its ironic because they left England for religious freedom because they were being persecuted. Now when there in America they are persecuting people for their beliefs. These people are also supposed to be christian; so why are they torturing them when they should be helping them. I commend heyes for sewing that big A because she takes pride in going out against the community.
