"Words-so innocent and powerless as they are standing in a dictinaory, how good and how evil they become on the hands of one who knows how to use them."
What that quote means is that words are powerless on their own, but once their put together in a sentence they can either offend someone or compliment. I completely agree because people insult things with other words.
Example: The words Ugly, suck, and you have no meaning they are just words. But when you rearrange them it can say "You suck Ugly" and that is offensive.
