How are love and hate alike?
The way love and hate are similar is through emotion. As said in Avenue Q "The more you ruv someone the more you want to kill them." The things that drove you madly involve with one person can now be the things that make you want to strangle them. This doesn't mean that you don't love them anymore it just means that you need to adapt in order to love them more greatly.
